We moved to the ancient stannary town of Ashburton from London in December 2005 as we wanted a complete change from city life and Ashburton has proved to be the absolute tonic. As well as being a historic town, Ashburton falls within the boundaries of Dartmoor National Park and the moors are but a short distance away.
Although Ashburton is a small town it has a marvellous villagey feel about it and we have found the people very warm, welcoming and friendly - we are sure you will too.
